This is the only ship build I will ever run on any of my slots
The sheer quality of life of getting from island to island as fast as possible massively outweighs the risk of low HP (especially because NPC ships are stupid and can basically be one-tapped with carronades)
Even for the dark sea this will save you several minutes of sailing and frayed lead lines + Master shipbuilder will more than make up for the low HP
As for player ships, I usually just leave the game if someone attacks my boat
dang now i wonder what the absolute optimal dark sea epicenter taxi build is
also do enchantments on ship attachments increase total ship speed or just the firing speed of the harpoons and swivel guns?

Only affect the attachments, spamming is more efficient than dmg for sea monsters

i wonder if magma arcanium cannons can leave obsidian pools on the ocean surface like a police spikestrip

Real ones have no idea what they do and get every possible combo in game
Don’t worry about that, my main file has every enchants on every ship parts.
