alr ima have fun. Probably gonna hop in every day or so and rate EVERY SONG I see, have some fun that way.
Rating the music so far
She Wants Revenge - Sister : It sounds like something you’d hear in the end scrawl of a Walking Dead Episode. And a GOOD episode at that. HOWEVER, it does sound like The Talking Heads but… trying to be grunge as the Talking Heads? Not inherently bad, but not at all my taste. I’d say 6.8/10
This Cold Night - Black Cathedral : Project Zomboid. Only thought for this entire song. Like… Random Survivor by Two Wheeled Gaming with this in the background? A dream combo. It gives kinda a Joy Division vibe, and I do love that. I’d say 7.7/10!
Hai Yorokonde - Kocchi no Kento : I was like “what song is this, I recognize it” and then I realized and I wanted to send myself into the pits of hell. ITS SO GOOD BUT ITS SO ANNOYING UGHHH just because of how much I have to deal with it on tiktok I’m giving it a 7.1/10
Granblue Fantasy Versus Soundtrack - Butterfly Girl (VS Narmaya) : soundtracks and I tend to not get along. Especially ones for games. I like softer songs, games that have a lot of story and make a point to have their music fit. The Last of Us, Skyrim, and for shows/movies? Loki, Ragnarök. But this? I enjoy. I like it. A lot. I’m saying, because I like the energy and the way it keeps itself up for a fight you KNOW is powerful, (I hope), so 6.2/10
END OF RAGNAROK - Fubito Endo : THIS is the type of ost music I can EAT UP. It feels like a fight, one where the villain isn’t weakened, and in some way, they win - the hero loses their loved one, their reason to fight, or they become so close to the villain, that it is a win for them. It’s GORGEOUS. AAAA- okay I was saying all that before the vocals came in. This was SO GOOD. And now it is NOT AS GOOD. 5.7/10. The vocals drag almost all of it down.
SABATON - The Attack of the Dead Men : Every single Sabaton sounds the exact same to me. No variation, no change, just "other language in it, metal, about history, every song feels like its the same BPM. Is it bad? No. I love Sabaton. Is it good…? Eh…? Like I’d say… 6.3/10. I wouldn’t go OUT OF MY WAY to listen to this, but hearing it while at the gym? That’d be fun.
SABATON - Bismarck : Oh so I’m getting slimed by Sabaton today alr… AND IT SOUNDS JUST LIKE DEAD MEN. Sabaton has two sounds. Slow with a lot of snare, or faster with more marching sounds, if that makes sense. And all of it? It also sounds just like The Last Stand. It’s insane how repetitive they are. I would NOT enjoy a Sabaton concert (mostly because an insane amount of neonazis like them) so 5.8/10.
SABATON - The Red Baron : I may hate you, ItsNotMe. I may genuinely despise you. HOWEVER. This one is the faster beat, which I like, which doesn’t sound as “I can see people marching to this as they LARP being soldiers.” Which is a good thing! So… 6.5/10
alr as for the music I love? I’ll be sending like… five every now and then.
said five songs
https://youtu.be/7XKh7w4Wf30?si=KdnPzWKCtJfuo3lD I think this is better than the original. genuinely. and I LOVE Kings of Leon.
https://youtu.be/tWX3El-slpY?si=01-IHXZAAbuX-CG_ I think this is truly one of the most gorgeous songs I’ve ever heard. It is art.
https://youtu.be/wbzJB36Z1F4?si=K7aQxCpAeKG7Ct2u LAUFEY FOR THE WIN AAA. Her voice is so… peaceful. Top singer of mine.
https://youtu.be/Dhouc6RGxJQ?si=vmFNZyCUzHKsN3XZ yes, I like this version more. I have a preference. Her voice just flows so well, has this slight crack that feels so raw and human - she sounds like she’s ENJOYING her music.
https://youtu.be/laXY5e5JaV0?si=Ze4kFHicN9MyHk3d What would I be doing if I didn’t include my all time favorite Smiths song? A top five of mine, truly gorgeous. I sometimes will go out to my backyard, lay on the back patio, and just stare at the sky as I play this in my airpods. Why? Because it feels like how Space feels to me. Strange, wondrous, something I can’t help but feel sad but love all the same.
„Sister” has a monotonic background that’s eh, but I like the guy’s raspy voice. 7/10
„Black cathedral” reminds me of KULT’s songs and would listen. 9.5/10
The japanese one was quite catchy, solid 8/10, I don’t know what it’s about but who cares

Bro what did I do
Rating thy songs
- Use Somebody: Alright, to start off, it’s Postmodern Jukebox, how can it be bad? I am not that into slowy jazz and in terms of jazz I prefer Scott’s „Crazy Train”, but I could see this one helping me relax. Solid 9/10.
- Chicago: Mediocre melody, but saved by the good storytelling, and that one verse - „all things grow”. Is this where you have taken your infamous growing philosophy from? The guy also has a calming voice so 7.8/10
- Silver Lining sounds like something I’d hear at a mall tbf. The storytelling was also quite shallow so 6/10 since at least it’s quite relaxing.
- Black Sheep: I can’t make out what she’s yapping about, but nice voice. Sounds like something I’d hear playing in the radio and vibe to, not caring what it is though. 7.5/10
- Just as you have it with Sabaton I have with The Smiths, their songs are so similiar to eachother in my ears. I heard this one on a hiking trip when our gals were operating the speaker and it felt dull. 5.8/10
And for the songs I like, they’re random but cool, at least i thinc so
3 songs in my mind right now

Im a fan of chiptunes and this particular one got into my head after watching „coda of the cosmos”. Really brings the tension despite not being a fast tune like others.
guys this is my favourite song it inspires me every day and its really profound and positive and empowering, the lyrics are very distinguished
