Have you seen the newest episodes, it becomes more “bird-like.” Also if I were to guess why it’s represented as a bird is because ravens and darkness idk, the shadow would have to manifest itself in someway and just having it as another human would be weird, having it bird-like fits much better.

I don’t see a problem with using the original Japanese name especially if the English name is extremely reminiscent of the bad side of the fanbase.

Shadow Magic is viable on it’s own and it’s definitely not overrated.

But it doesn’t synergize with anything and it’s visuals leave alot to be desired

oh its status effect sucks and it does not do damage over time. what i see with most of magics is it either does damage over time, or its super good for combos, some have this and a blinding effect, but shadow magic has none of theses
