Greetings, forums. Iโm pristine, better known as DredgenMalleus, the leader of the Shadows of Yor. Though we certainly hold infamy as a PvP-centric clan, our operations are multi-faceted, and can be sourced back to the four divisions that make up our hierarchy.
The Collectors are one of these divisions, and are the only non-combative division we host. This of course doesnโt mean youโre permitted from combat - it is encouraged, and all Collectors must be able to hold their own, whether in direct combat, or through evasive tactics.
Iโm here today to announce that the Collectors are hiring, in preparation for the Darksea update and what lies beyond.
โ What is the role of a Collector?
Quite simply, the purpose of the Collectors division is to build wealth, whether it be for themselves or for the good of the guild as a whole. From farming bosses, to fishing, to ventures into trading, to acquiring reagents en masse, to reaping the plentiful rewards that will be available in the Darkseas, we provide you the tools and funding to go forth and collect.
As our premiere PvE division, outward PvP skill is not a requirement - as aforementioned, as long as you are competent, anyone is more than welcome to join the division.
โ What opportunities for promotion lie within the division?
The Shadows of Yor follow a relatively simple rank hierarchy. Followers are members initiated into the guild who have not yet joined a division. Shadows have proven themselves as competent, or have entered any of our four divisions. Lastly, the Honored are those who lead divisions or have contributed largely to the guild over the time of their membership.
Though this is the structure of the guild as a whole, each division has their own loose hierarchy. The divisional leader of the Collectors is Forged_Phyrus, a long time fan of the Arcane series, and a very jovial and fun soul to be around. He does not lead with an iron fist in any way; if you need help or resources for any of your ventures, simply ask, and he will always do his best to assist.
โ Can I transfer divisions once becoming a Collector?
Members of the Shadows can swap between divisions at any time at their discretion, presuming they pass the entrance test for any of our other denominations, those being the Reapers, the Invaders, and the Sentries.
โ What are the divisionโs plans for the release of the Darksea?
The Shadows of Yor will be hosting a joint expedition into the Darksea immediately post-release. If youโd like more information on our plans or would like to take part, youโre more than welcome to ask for more information.
