I bet im not the only one waiting for life magic so healing blood desease could be some budget way of healing teammates till we get ancient magics.
Id imagine it would behave differenty from the other blood deseases, only being able to heal party members and lowering overall damage or something.
Arcane Odyssey lost some of its essence when vetex went the fun hater route and made us unable to use stuff like mystery on blood diseases

i actually was hoping mystery would be a blood disease, imagine the possibilities.
i actually made and used a healing blood disease on my own free will when they were first released (before they were made unobtainable)
because stuff like healing gel was changed to scale on the receiver’s max HP instead of the user’s, it really sucked because it didn’t really grant any meaningful healing for allies (like 8-16 hp every 5s) and it would still heal enemies even if i was in a party for some reason. so basically all it did was lower my damage output and actually made me a liability for my party in some cases, especially with bosses since it would actually heal them for pretty significant amounts. the worst part abt it tho was i looked like elphaba ![]()
anyway, hopefully we’ll get a lost SM magic that heals party members (im pretty sure phoenix has strictly self-healing). unless it turns out to be ancient, maybe that magic will be Divine since Iuris (custom that fuses divine + fire) can apparently heal others. but i digress
It’s strange, because you are still allowed to make them for certain positive effects such as luck or featherfalling.
