Should I drop mage for warrior?

I saw some legitimately insane gameplay from warrior builds and I’m wondering if I should drop the idea of being a mage

though mages have some crazy AoE moves as well from what I’ve seen

Depends on what you like they’re both really good for different reasons

Mages are overall far more powerful, warrior has no reliable long range while mage has insane aoe, better damage scaling, better range, and magic jump which warriors currently dont have. However warriors do have more versatility since we can use more weps.

hmm I mean all it takes for warriors to become powerful is one extremely cracked weapon gets added…

then again mages seem like a pretty safe and consistent path, not to mention how cool a giant crystal greatsword must look impaling the ground…

I’ve seen crazy mages too and they’re really cool as well

it’s such a hard choice, warriors just need a crazy good weapon to become devastating, however mages are pretty consistent it seems

Hard question to answer. Mage can deal crazy damage, too.

Guessing you saw Visan’s clips. Every build has its strengths and weaknesses, and every player is different. Just cause one dude popped off in a few clips with Warrior doesn’t at all mean that you will. Try it if you’d like, but don’t jump headfirst into a totally different playstyle expecting to perform well. Every build is something you have to get used to.
