Should I permanently ditch my Archenhailor identity?

I probably won’t do this but it’s just a hypothetical.

The reason I might want to ditch my Archenhailor identity is because my parents sadly know about it. If they found out everything I publicly did under this identity, I would probably have my computer permanently taken away from me.

Notice how I said “publicly”? This means only the shit that pops up when you search my username on a search engine. If they saw everything private such as my Discord DMs, that’d be so much worse…

I don’t want to do it because I will lose all my progress in almost everything online, such as every single Roblox game. Changing my Roblox username might not work because others can see my past username.

The only reason I don’t have to ditch Archenhailor yet is because my parents never bother to check on what I do. They literally don’t check the IP search logs at all which means I can go to NSFW sites without them ever figuring out.

Even if I ditch Archenhailor, I don’t know if I can afford shit like VPNs. I probably wouldn’t be able to convince my parents to buy me a VPN without shit looking suspicious.

If there’s a genuine risk, then yeah absolutely. However, I think you’re fine, parents nowadays don’t really tend to dig deep like ever.

So for now I say definitely not, but that’s just my advice.

Be careful of what you post online. I mean, if its something that you might cringe at if a friend brings it up, sure it’s not a disaster, but if people are going to be genuinely unhappy with your actions (In an unignorable way, as in actually affecting you) - with whatever in life, you’re doing something wrong.

You do you, don’t rely on the forums for your decision.
If it ends up that you are leaving these forums and permanently, it’ll be a shame to see you go.
