- yes (coward)
- nuh uh
A shiny title is not worth it
i reset after i start getting close to like 20k cause that seems like the threshold for experiencing randomly getting hunted mostly
The only reason I don’t do so is reckless pride.
me fr when the funny number go up
I just chill on about 100k, whatever happens might be interesting.
wait is there merit to having a lot of negative fame?
your character gets to be a criminal.
i just use love gels and watch as they instantly leave the game
Honestly true
But instead of resetting (that costs cash) I just hunt an NPC with 50k+ bounty, then I head to sameria/palo to free said dude from execution
just dont get hunted
i used to be on the leaderboard and i might not return because of personal projects
well at least i had my time
If you don’t want to fight, then don’t get high bounty
even 100ks are pretty often hunted, and I got “hunted” by a 500k player yesterday (he was a mage who spammed placed explosion on metal with T5 pots and played like a stealth submarine with magma platforms, if you know what I mean)
Minor issue: Most activities increase your renown, effectively turning playing the game into a timebomb that will end with you being hunted.
this is why we need fame lock to prevent it from going up
the funny part is
i’ve been hunted with 1k or less bounty/fame before
people are desperate to increase their number
FR
if there was a way to lock renown, i would stay neutral on every file forever
pve-focused game where doing pve content pushes you closer and closer to random pvp
ive said this before but i really think renown should become a pve thing, then rework notoriety to be like how renown currently works
renown feels like it was meant to show your growth as a character in the world and now its just become a pvp thing
im not sure how such a system would work, but gaining notoriety in this system wouldnt be possible without pvp, just so it doesnt have the same issue as renown currently does
SAME
but the difference is that I only use it when I get to orange hp
(because of that I get to learn + live another day)
You can reset it fairly easily
