Tbh making it past power 1is the hardest part. If you repeat the tutorial using the ghost of the cap’n, you can get some free loot but it’s tedious if you die a lot.
Oh wait! Also, ALWAYS SPAWN AT VIGILS USING WHEN CASTAWAY ORIGIN. It’s closer to erisia, and there’s an instructor there that can’t kill you but lets you practice combat. Which is crucial for new players.

yeah i’ve beaten the instructor quite a few times. i know how to parry it’s just the timings and everything are sometimes a bit awkward, usually for newer enemies i’ve just met (aka how i’ve died both times i think)
there’s also getting staggered which happens when you mess up timings and whatnot
not trying to sound like i’m complaining just saying it’s a skill issue
