Should owning one of the arcane odyssey plushies give you an untradeable item that is purely cosmetic and gives no stats or buffs at all?

im sure a lot of people have asked this question, which is why i wanna make an opinion poll on it which are my favorite things to do if you havent been able to tell from the past 10 threads ive made.

and before you say “its against tos!!!” big games got away with selling plushies in walmart/target or other big retail stores and on them had a code that gave you some op bullshit

should owning any of the AO plushies give you a vanity item ingame?

  • yes, you should get a vanity item thats untradeable
  • no.

I mean I don’t see Vetex going through the trouble.

would suck for f2p item collectors tbh

can’t really do it now that they’ve already shipped and the only reason i voted yes is bc i have both of them

Would be cool and Vetex would be making a bag.

no because if i cant buy it then nobody should get it

why are people so against this?

dont testers and devs have exclusive items of their own?

it would be a nice treat for people who support the game financially

Imo if anything it should just be an ingame version of the plush. You bought the plush and have it IRL so you also get a vanity version of it in AO sitting on your shoulder or something. Nothing that fancy, just a nice little bit of acknowledgement beyond owning a physical piece of merch

Iris seeing a random hobo walk up to her with an exact replica of her on a smaller scale on their shoulder (she has never seen that person in their life):

i mean sure, a plush cosmetic in game would be neat and i have nothing against
its too late for that though

sorry iris plushy isnt canon in ao, not immersive :face_with_steam_from_nose:

#plushie-proof

TDS does this with their plushie skins so I don’t see the issue here

Could actually help fund the game if I’m being honest

no because the plushies are limited (I think)
otherwise, sure

they are limited but i can see a workaround being just upload proof that you own one or something
