you get used to it and plus if you dont want to wipe there are alot of ways to avoid death
even though its permadeath that doesnt mean its easy to die its actually pretty hard
because everytime you level up your get a life back and full health you can also do the depths trial to escape the depths

Permadeath is honestly a necessity in deepwoekn for it to be fun. You have are always at risk which makes it way more challenging, and it allows for people to play and experiment more with their slots.
The game is definitely worth it, and if you dont have friends to play the game, then go to the discord server. You can find guilds or people to help you progress.
