Tried working on NPC dialogue today, surprisingly a bit more complex then i thought, gonna take a while to figure things out
NPC dialogue system is complete, I decided to just go with a single conversation sequence as anything else would be entirely unnecessary as I donāt wanna lore drop purely off text.
Currently working on each NPCās character and what they add to the story thru conversation
just a reminded that Skyforgeās story is still being designed to be vague or āfeelā unfinished as itās a part of a story line that will be told across games and possibly media
Didnāt do much work today but I finished 2 NPC chat sequences, credits to soulfularia for enhancing and improving my original sequence.
Once I finish up the dialogues Iāll probably need to move to the gameās ending, Iām just unsure about it cuz it might require me to make it like an animation which would be a lot difficult for my current skills, gotta figure things out.
Might Finish all the character Sequences by today, Will move onto the ending but might slow that down and focus on QOL instead if Iām still unsure how to pull it off
I think Iāve got an idea of how I want to end skyforge, work is going well, if the finale is done then all that needs to be done is a lot of QOL and possible reworks

Still a good number of things I need to change and add but expect them to happen a lot faster
Finished a starter island area (not part of the lore) that letās you tp to any section once you reach itās Anchor (not part of the lore either) for people who wanna replay them or for people who rejoin and game and donāt wanna start from the beginning
work is fine, idk how Iāll finish the other area of the game as its gameplay is entirely different then skyforge but is still linked to it
lot of QOL finished, working on a new place that you can access thru skyforge but requires you find certain things around the map to enter.
This one shouldnāt take long as itās gameplay idea is simple but thatās just my guess rn.
Added a Nuke Mechanc to my game, really wanted to add this in a while and possibly a huge addition to the lore

what can I expect from the lore?
A mostly vague lore, part of it is inspired of ARG Type stories but THIS game will not contain any such off-sight links but WILL contain decodable text. might feel a little boring for people who arenāt a fan of looking for clues or foreshadowing, or trying to interpret the story in their own way/guess.
what will I do after I release this game?
Start working on simple and easier games, I worked this entire game on ābasically AIā The only reason it works is cuz I somewhat understand what each function does. But this canāt fly forever so I will need a āTraining ARCā until I can handle most scripts by myself and Only use AI for speed and efficiency.
When will Skyforgeās follow up games comes?
Not anytime soon, the idea is too ambitious that itās clear that my skill will NOT be able to handle it, starting it now would make it horrible and a waste of time.
Will you have other series?
Maybe but itās unlikely, I will label games if they are a part of OR related to a series in itās description.
