Information would still be slow and sometimes censored, so it would likely be 1% that know and identify instead of 5%, but we have been there this whole time. I’m not asking if trans people exist here, they do, I’m asking if medically transitioning is possible in Y1858.

AO is generally behind technologically but even still I think these two would realistically have under a century till HRT and proper medical transition is created (in the real world this was during the 1920s-1930s)
that also assumes the story does not end in a catastrophe that ruins the War Seas or the whole world again
