Kind of a burning hot take but I don’t think having transgenderism in a game that takes place in a time period where women are probably not treated well makes a ton of sense

Even then it just feels… weird. Especially since all characters in this game are considered to basically be heterosexual and whatnot

Maybe it’s for the better, the way the current characters are, the new ones would probably literally just be “Hello, I am gay and I love my husband!”
Vetex hasn’t really figured out how to make properly interesting characters that we can feel attached to and be sad if they die

edit: wati no in WoM the most magically advacnded was the new greek, but the skyhallians were still 2nd iirc

No, because these are the equivalent of the 1900s in our world, (reminder that Y1 = 100CE) and you’d get at the very least shamed if you identified as the opposite gender.

I’d say they are advanced in medicine but not to current times, i mean sure they’d have knowledge on anatomy, different diseases and how to treat/cure them, but they wouldn’t be able to do such things due to lack of equipment or enough knowledge (i assume)
