Also in terms of architecture I’m betting Skyhall will be like 5,6 islands connected with bridges surrounded by the rest of the wilderness.
The bigger the bridges the better trust me
That’s what I figure, too. One big island, maybe about as big as Ravenna or a little smaller, and I’m thinking the island should be more “vertical” than horizontal. Maybe a mountain in the middle, with a giant castle or top? Or maybe the entire island could be a sky-mountain, and the quests give more EXP the higher up you go. A mountainous layout could also introduce a political/government system dividing the social classes into different ranks (historical figures typical kept the higher ranks closer to them- if its a mountain, the higher ranks would live higher up and the lower ranks would be further down).
Side islands could each be about as big as a town. “Wilderness” areas could be thick belts of cloud, and it’d be cool if you could sail over/through a thunderstorm within these wilderness areas.
