I’ve been listening to a ton of calmer acoustic guitar songs from vgm osts now, my favorites being Lone Sojourner and Hollow Skies. Michael Giacchino is my favorite film scorer of all time, and I remembered him saying something along the lines of “I try my focus less on putting more notes and more on imbuing more emotion.” And then I read a storybook that said like “A lot of ancient artifacts are only worth so much because of the story behind them,” and I had a revelation.
