Lost knowledge books are… exceedingly rare and expensive, as they should be!
However, they have a few critical flaws, especially towards magics and fighting styles, that greatly diminish their usefulness compared to the other classes.
I believe these flaws should be removed.
When used outside of the specific circumstances that they benefit you, lost knowledge books are actively and heavily detrimental with their enormous cooldown penalty.
I should not be forced to keep it equipped to my spells 24/7.
The Solution:
There should be a setting in the spell/technique customization menu on any ability that has a lost knowledge applied to it to simply disable the effect without penalty.
The other classes can freely remove and replace the lost knowledge affected note with a normal one, I see no reason magic/fighting style users should be unable to do the same.
yea like a warrior can get a weapon and fill it completely with dragon slaying skill notes for when dragons are added to use THAT weapon against them.
Or have a bow dedicated to hunting in the dark sea with loads of darkness purging books dedicated to it.
if you do that with magic you’re just screwing yourself in 99% of scenerios.
Magics and Fs just should have a way to convert the spells back into scrolls like how Relic and Weapon users can just swap out skills and weapons on the fly.
