Small Personal AITA thing

well facial hair comes to transfems who wait, so no thanks.

Why, I think this look would suit you nicely!

well no shit, you think I didn’t think of that?

You could always try the laser thing to get rid of it permanently, but that might be just as expensive as the hormones honestly

i mean it’s really more of an example, it’s not like body hair is my only struggle.

hormone replacement* therapy

the replacement part is kind of redundant imo

k soooo turns out it’s not even a finanical thing, it’s just that my parents don’t find that important, and would not pay for it, and also don’t want to help me get a job.

they also said they don’t think my interests even align with girly stuff cause I like boy video games and stuff, even though they literally raised me as a boy for my entire life so wtf do they expect? another interest they mentioned is that I don’t like dresses, but the issue with that is that I completely do like dresses, they just won’t let me wear them!
so I guess they think I’m a liar or something.

so uhhh no one understands each other around here, guess it’s gonna be another year of nothing coming of this time-sensitive matter.

Damn I’m sorry.

If you do want help finding a job, there are often people at schools who are literally paid to help with that kind of thing. In addition, a lot of my classmates find jobs through each other (I know about 20 kids who work at the same neighborhood ice cream shop), so ask your friends!

As for the dresses thing, I assume you’ve tried telling them you like dresses and girly stuff? If so, and they still think you don’t for some reason, try just wearing girly stuff you can get for the money you have. Go to Claire’s or something and buy a bunch of cheap clip-on bows (or whatever sort of accessory you want) and stick them on your bags, in your hair, on pockets of clothes, etc. If they see that enough, I assume they’ll believe you eventually, since like 98% of teenage boys wouldn’t be caught dead with a pink sequined bow on their bag or shirt.

Also, have you tried showing them photos of other more feminine guys (like celebrities and stuff maybe) that you like the style of? It could just be that they don’t understand what you mean, I guess, although I kind of doubt that based on your description

I’m sorry if none of this is helpful :frowning:

yeah about that, I graduated.

genuinely good advice if I went to stores or bought things independently. i hate to say it but i didn’t train for this.

can’t really think of anyone, besides like, chud twitch streamers.

this whole thing is just making me glad for you having a better circumstance where this is all on the table.

Oof. Well, congrats anyway!

You can always try organizing a shopping trip with friends, or maybe cousins/siblings if you have any around your age. Some of my favorite memories are of just wandering around checking out fun thrift stores with my cousins or my best friend. Gives you an excuse to go shopping, and helps with confidence if someone you trust is there! I get it, I never go shopping by myself either, nor do I shop online, but having other people there really helps.

Okay honestly I was kind of hoping you would say this so I could show you one of my style icons: Mana, he’s a decently famous Japanese visual kei musician. He’s also the producer of a fashion brand I really like (although it’s soooo expensive)

You know, I've always wondered what Mana-sama looks like without all the makeup and glamour, looking like he came out of a cosplay beauty pageant, but certain things shouldn't stay the way

I’m sure there are plenty of others if you look! Although you can also just show them the Twitch streamers anyway, I doubt most parents even know what Twitch is

Edit: also, collect a Pinterest board maybe! Once you have a defined aesthetic or vibe that you can show all in one place, I think that might help

Shave your legs and do some squats my man it’s not hard to be a femboy, maybe watch what you eat if you’re a bit worried

I’m doing all that already and I’m the most beautious fembrother ever, I’m just worried about my future. Like, I gotta grow up physically at some point, and I don’t want it to go in the wrong direction for me.

don’t worry you’ll be fine

how does food effect the ability to become a femboy? like drinking soy milk for more estrogen or like in a dont get too chubby way

“You are what you eat…”

omelette

don’t get chubby way

make sure to keep a diet of estrogen.
