Smoke Bow (rare weapon)
This is similar to a regular wood bow but every arrow is a smoke arrow.
The Aura is just pure smoke and when charging it creates little smoke particles, though not enough to actually obscure someone’s vision like the particles from the arrows
This is based on the already existing but now unused asset for smoke arrow projectiles, which we can’t use anymore
I don’t want to use smoke burst potions for cover. This needs to be added
i think this could develop into an general idea of infusing weapons with potion effects. while in the end weaker, you have them for infinity.
Exotic catalyst used to create enhancement potions, which you can’t drink but they act like gems or rare scrolls but for weapons. This will let you make the smoke bow as well as other strange concoctions like healing or a meme dagger that lets your party see underwater structures. The effect is weaker than a gel but as you mentioned it would last forever
This would be a 1/60 drop from sealed or lost cargo and 1/600 from generic chests since I’d argue it has equal to or even more power than a rare scroll in the right hands
Plus it gives weapons customizability
just use gilded smoke gel its the closest we got now i think i think bows apply gels right?

giving a group of friends constant luck 5 would kill the rarity of all items, other effects such as a slowness 5 dagger would be absolute garbage to play against

make it so gel effects apply to arrows and the point where they land
i mean, obviously stuff like luck wouldn’t be allowed. but who cares about slowness? we already said that the effects would be weaker
when smoke arrows existed in world of magic, they just deleted my frame rate, even with a high end PC roblox just sucks too bad and can’t handle that many particles
Smoke arrows were horrible for performance and nobody used them anyways. However the idea may have merit now, maybe with some changes.
