honestly, the fact that deepwoken, a game with a much smaller playerbase than most of the games nominated, had won, gives me hopes that arcane odyssey WILL win next year’s bloxy- I mean “Innovation awards”

Deepwoken has it’s flaws, but I believe it deserves it’s award out of the selection of the three other nominees;
The first nominee for best game experience is Sonic Speed Simulator, which I personally dislike. It’s just a crappy pay-to-win speed simulator with Sonic’s likeness slapped onto it, and I’m kind of baffled it’s even an official Sonic game.
The second nominee is Bedwars, but I don’t have much to say about it and I’m kind of neutral of it, but to me it’s overabundance of gamepasses makes it look a bit P2W for me.
The third nominee is the trash heap known as Pet Simulator X…another example of Roblox being completely blinded by this nonsense “Metaverse” crap, they’ve chosen one of the worst, most grindy, and most pay-to-win sites on the entire site as a nominee for best new experience…I’m just speechless.
I could rant about Pet Sim X for hours, but now is not that time. Whatever you think of Deepwoken, it’s definitely much better than Pet Simulator X.
Whatever, I predict that in next year’s Bloxys Innovation Awards Arcane Odyssey is going to take every single experience-related category for itself, all while Vetex watches the whole thing from the comfort of his new million-dollar mansion. #ODYSSEYSWEEP

Ao no diffs the innovation awards
Is it deserved? Yeah probably. It is mechanically the most interesting with really enjoyable second to second gameplay. But a game about pvp that encourages it and has permadeath, as a combo, is gross so I hate it.

I believe it was changed to innovation due to the state of Roblox, the definitions for this would usually state the change that roblox is going through rn which they said was the future of Roblox but the it was indeed a stupid change
And the reward for winning is hella garbage, the new reward is a literal hat that’s small, everything is black, the text it hard to read, looks like it was made of coal.
The bloxy reward was 100% better, it was a back accessory that didn’t take up to much space and was the perfect position, a statue of roblox with a golden statue, easy text to read, and was actually rewarding.
