So how far is the cannon spell's effective range? planning on sniping people with a max power build but I need to know the range

I have now just realized that I could have tested it when I was recording.

it depends on attack speed (like any other attack (almost))

depends on attack speed and dont snipe somebody with cannon because cannon does SHIT damage ur better off using something like guns or beam for sniping

the cannon spell is… just a blast?

Probably just the way I set it that makes it look like a blast. Only dead giveaway that it’s a cannon spell is that it’s slightly faster than a blast and created a snowball infront of the magic circle when casting

Ah fair point

I’d say like something between 100 and 200 meters

no its not lol

but I’m pretty sure its a bit further than blast and max range scales with speed

from the wiki its a blast that can goes through things which is like… very situational

other than the allowing all magic to travel underwater it basically a blast tbh

it doesn’t allow magics to travel underwater, it is much faster than blast, and from what I’ve tested has slightly larger range
it can hit multiple times if its an ultimate art (dunno about normal, have more testing to do) and had a different size multiplier than blast (50% to 150%) for the same damage amounts. it also has a set amount of 1 and slightly more startup.

they are not the same

oh okay the wiki lies to me then

yeah I just tried it with fire yesterday when I saw the wiki and boy was I disappointed :sob:

betex promised us a way to waterproof our spell at least… whenever it comes (i probably graduate college before that :skull:)

As a Fire/Magma mage I can confirm it DOES allow magics to go through water.

My snow works underwater with the cannon (only reason I use it other than terrain blocks)

then what the heck is wrong with mine???

cannon has the same damage than a blast wdym, of course if you increase the size more than 100% it decrease the damage

What magic do you use?

I already said fire
