This man is a power-size metal, posion, and wood mage.
He will EASILY do upwards of 500 damage, most of the time, if you even block his attacks it will still like do 300 damage.
Let me introduce you to his ultimate, I have dubbed “The Hand of God”
Why’s it called that?
This is why. The only benefit of having a rival like this, is that they barely have any health, as shown in the first image (I actually have more HP than him!) However, this doesn’t mean much, when he does 1/2 your health before you can get in 1/10th of his. I have witnessed 3 fully gear max leveled people take him on ALL AT ONCE, and he still won. I had no clue he would grow this strong, I met him when he was just doing 60 damage per blast at level 20, how foolish I was to pick him of all people.
I’m curious to see, does anyone have any rivals that they consider harder, because of another stat I wasn’t taking into accoutnt?
My rival on my warrior file is… interesting. He uses basic/cannon/sailor and is almost exclusively close-mid range, which makes him relatively easy for my warrior file, since she uses plunderers about 90% of the time. Honestly, I don’t even know why I have other weapons at this point. However, if you make the mistake of not dodging at the exact right millisecond, he deals upwards of 500 damage in each attack, and for some reason can land grabs from halfway across the island while I’m mid-dodge with my 300 agility build. And he loves to spam those grabs.
Oh yeah, and his health? Over 3000. If I was a close-range user, I would be dead before putting a scratch on him. So, is he difficult? No, if you’re willing to spend 10 minutes dodging wildly, trying to fight him at long range while he’s constantly jumping towards you. Otherwise, yes.
My rival is a Savant with Snow, Boxing, and Weapons.
He’s probably as much of a pushover as a level 260 NPC can be, especially against my particular build.
Snow to be outclashed by Plasma, Boxing to be too far away to hit me, and Weapons to be too predictable to land.
My rival is called Russo, he wears mostly green and uses Wood, Sailor, and weapons.
He is lowkey a NIGHTMARE because he has like over 3k hp, dashes around like a maniac, has godlike aim, and does over 400 dmg per hit. He was very manageable in early 2023, but now his level has doubled since then and I have to be very careful with every key I press when I am fighting him.
I think my rival is the weakest one. He has 2 k hp and is a warrior who runs rapier and dual sword because appearently he doesn’t have a third weapon?? I hate seeing people get some cool rivals with imbued fighting styles or weapons and magic when mine is just a boring warrior
No clue how he obtained that nuch damage with explosion magic, but regardless, my condolences go out to you anytime you try to farm for legendary charts
I have a warrior(maybe knight from her stupid truckload of hp) that only has an old sword
she’s just blatantly so easy that I could’ve tried to solo her with a lvl 50 file if I bothered trying to chip away at 4k hp
my basic combat-canon fist beserker rival is relatively easy to fight, just combo him with my superior canonfist that has access to heavy explodies and crash with knockback (which somehow cancels out his crash for some reason) to kill him
my mage rival on the other hand…
he was a snow-shadow mage
WAS
untill he suddenly used twin crescents for some reason
now im scared because bro is investing into weapons and i dont like weapon territory (because its kind-of jack of all trades)
My Rival is what you call a disrupter, because every single time I try to fight her I either get pulverized with her attacks, detonated with her magic, or melted down with her acid magic…
and with the current limiter/level cap, there isn’t much I could do then switch builds or gear.
