Im not saying it should, im saying if it would. Looking at the wording of “recruiting” crew members, the idea of the Arknights recruiting system came into my mind, wherein you actually gamble to have a good jpeg character and not recruit them manually, hence the start of this question.
Though vetex replying that he doesn’t like gacha systems shows that it wont be something like it and we’ll probably be recruiting crew members manually by picking.
