I do not do pvp. However, I would like to try it and improve at it. There have been a couple of instances where Ive gotten myself into a pvp match against people who at least seem to be around my skill level, but like a full quarter of their attacks will deal damage to me even when I’m half a mile away from them (like, the opponent will shoot directly in front of themself, i’ll be way off to their left, and i’ll still get hit)
Its pretty obvious lag and not like attack size or anything, Im just wondering if this is a thing that happens somewhat often or if its just my internet being bad. I mean, regardless of what the case is its not gonna prevent me from getting tilted when somebody tries to fight me but its peace of mind ig
i think it somewhat depends on who ur fighting
i have some friends who have consistently have crazy desync when we fight even tho we both have good ping
if it happens a lot when u fight anyone then it’s probably a lag issue

its a game issue, many times it looks like the attacker shoots their beam up at the sky but it actually hits you. you have to assume every attack will hit you because good luck trying to actually read and dodge attacks when you cant even see where theyre really going

always remember, juustar. if your opponent has a projectile, it doesnt matter where it goes. there is always a 50% chance of being hit. this is why you BLOCK AND PARRY WOOHOO
this post was brought to you by the crimis block parry dodge institution

Yeah… I really need to force myself to block more often.
I just hate the button that they put blocking on, like dude it would be so much better if they swapped F and G, so that G is used for an attack and F is used for blocking/parrying. Blocking is a necessary mechanic that you have to do frequently if you want to be good at the game, whereas I guarantee your fifth magic spell is not nearly as necessary to be on a convenient button
keybinds in full release i think
