I have all 4 of them and i will give a short review for each hat, because why not
AJ Hat : okay-ish, there are better headsets
Fey Hat : looks very decent, might go well with some rainbow/pastel avatars
Sparks Hat : bad, the shape is weird
Wren Hat : mayyyybe good for fantasy theme outfits, personally not my thing

Luckily I got all four as well since I got 10 crates from each team

Completely worth it, all of the hats so far look far better than some shitty egg you’re never going to wear completely replacing your head and being incompatible with every other hat.

If they can redo stuff like this but with the quality of the old egg hunts, I’ll take it.
Some of these things are actually wearable.

I really don’t get why people hated the metaverse event so much.
I initially hated it when I thought I’d have to go through literally every featured game to get everything from the event, but that wasn’t the case.

I honestly consider this event better than every dev hunt combined because, get this, I could actually dodge the shitty games… until I wanted the tiny egg, of course.
but even then I was able to sift through enough not-shit games that it wasn’t complete suffering to get the 20-some extra badges I needed for it.

Not to mention, this event actually has my hopes up that I might actually wear the rewards on more than one occasion.

week 2 boxes!!!

wren bow : kinda sick, has quite neutral colors so i think it will go on a lot of outfits
aj gun : reminds me of those old laser blaster gears, it looks great
sparks staff : the worst out of the 4, might not go well with every outfit
fey sword : this is really good wtf i like the colors and the shape of the sword

I didn’t do it.

I wanted an Egg Hunt. Not some Rthro event. So I didn’t do it.
I later found out it also gave an egg. I now regret doing it.

fey had the coolest design in general from the get-go

from the week 1 and week 2 boxes,

  • fey’s hat is easily the best, could work pretty good on a fantasy outfit

  • spark’s hat is pretty meh, it may work with some specific hairstyles but lame on it’s own

  • aj’s hat isn’t too bad but not particularly good

  • wren’s crown is just plainly speaking shit

  • fey’s sword is cool albeit a little small

  • spark’s wand is nice and big, however if only it were a different color

  • aj’s gun is cool

  • bow is cool

so far worth doing at least
probably worth noting that the week 3 and 4 boxes will be “shoulders” and “front” accessories respectively
