This is Jinhao’s alternative lore where if he was born under normal circumstances(?) and have not been involved with the Order of Aesir (yet)
ALTERNATIVE UNIVERSE TIMELINE(aka no-early-trauma au):
- He was left on the doorstep of an orphanage as a baby instead. At age 11, he meets Andre Lai (the person with spiky hair) and became best friends with him.
- Andre ended up in the orphanage because his village was raided by pirates, leaving him as the only survivor.

GRAND NAVY:
- Both joined the Grand Navy at age 18/19 (around the time the in-game story starts)
- In this au, Jinhao is 21 y.o while Andre is 22 y.o (in the grand navy for 3 years since the start the original lore)
- Andre is largely respected among his peers as he is one of the few that has managed to climb up the navy ranks without magic
- Both are popular among their colleagues: Jinhao is seen as a nice guy to talk to, while Andre is seen as a reliable senior (altho they find him scary sometimes lol)
- They’re mostly seen together outside of missions/off-duty: either doing paperwork, fishing, or just strolling around town outside HQ like normal citizens (occasionally gets ambushed by criminals looking to collect their bounty placed on them by the Assassins).

Jinhao’s nails are always painted different colours every week cus he joins his female juniors during their weekly manicure sessions
(Andre gets forced by Jinhao to join in the manicure session, so he always wears full gloves to cover up the painted nails cus he finds it embarassing.) -
They have this competition thing where they try to catch the largest fish they can find, and whoever has the biggest fish by the end of the competition wins.

The fish competition started since they were kids and it has since become a tradition for them to do this once in awhile.

This is pleasant to read. Andre feels like a big brother to Jinhao in this post. Honestly, this could be an awesome slice of life AU, where there is not much bloodshed, just plain old bromance.
