Pretty sure that everyone hates the fact that Solid Magics literally have the ugliest imbuements in the entire game, stuff like Scimitars of Storm look so bad looking, and most of your weapon skills have this annoying overlay which makes it look SO TERRIBLE. So, here’s a simple proposal!

Make solid magics imbuements more elegant, laying on the weapon like it’s been decorated instead of just being crudely patched on the weapon making it look really awful.

Taking off Sam’s conjurer:

See how beautiful the samerian scimitar looks? Well, actually, the glass here is also looking crude here, it’s just that it’s transparent for it to be barely noticeable. So, just remove these glass chunks from the weapon. Now, make the same thing with other solid magics! Yes, it wouldn’t make sense for stuff like Earth, but at least Ice, Crystal and Glass NEED the elegancy instead of just being patched onto the weapon and go like “yeah that seems good!”

And now… Taking an image from the wiki.

And I mean, it doesn’t necessarily look horrible, but the crystals just growing on your weapon like this (And if it would be spiky instead of just having crude chunks of crystals it would’ve been much better) are hurting the eyes

And let’s not mention the fact that Crystal Magic was supposed to be elegant looking, not like meat

also im sorry if its hard to read because of bad grammar or the typos, I don’t feel good today rn :sob:

Not possible unless they change the way imbuements function as I’ve suggested here: Better Imbuement Visuals

oh i forgot there could be other suggestion topics with the same target

Well i’m not taking it down for now

No reasonable dev would make a system which wouldn’t let you just not define the particles covering it, and since we already have the material change this is like 20 lines of code max
