Were you circling around a certain place like a volcano or a small island, or you were just sailing aimlessly? Which range of insanity did you do all that in?
Nope, as far as I can tell, it never spawns while circling an island, sail in a straight line with multiple players (or alts 
) and wait
Insanity 3, the far reaches. I donât know if it spawns in insanity 4 (probably) but thatâs worse to search in as you risk instantly killing yourself by sailing to i5 on accident
I know that the Omen only spawns in the Far Reaches, but I am not sure which one of its two insanity ranges has a higher chance. Marine life tends to spawn less and less when traveling from i0 to i2. And, its not so much the i5 range you should fear, but the 37k hp atlantean brigs
if your ship is good you should be able to dodge atlantean brigs no problem, i5 is a massive problem because it is an unmarked instakill with no notice other than your own death (why is there no wall of fog here? idk. why is it even an instant kill when it could just be traversable instead? idk)
i have no idea if omen is even able to spawn in i4, i donât think anybody has ever tried an i4 omen run because it would be wildly impractical

Imagine someone defeating the Omen at the Epicenter. That structure is so large, I bet the visited chunks have time to unload if you just circle around it, meaning youâre getting freshly-generated regions every time
Past a certain distance the Roblox engine starts bugging out (you can notice this a bit in the higher ranges, distortion in your character and audio messing up), so to prevent that happening, they have i5 as a killwall
