If you’re using The Fast, anywhere from 30 mins (when you know its general direction) to more than 6 hours (I didn’t even found it in that run) 
A cool nickname for my Agility + Warding 5 build. The name is just Blackdiver from Deepwoken but I replaced Black with Dark as in Dark Sea. Best used with a Conjurer due to Rising Tide + Leap scaling with Agility

from my experience, they only spawn on sandy beaches far offshore, and they spawn far from seaweed patches and revealing pots are quite helpful to get them.
they’re usually monstrous atlanteans at insanity 2 which are at least lvl 250, invis pots are quite helpful for avoiding them

they can’t spawn naturally no matter how far you go but they’re lvl 800 at least
It points towards the center of the nearest ‘sea’ (so around munera garden or smith), while the normal compass always points north, so it’s near impossible to line it up
Currently they cannot spawn naturally and can only spawn due to bugs such as (Martin) however in later updates they might spawn naturally and their level is atleast 800

Wait, for the nimbus dark sea- Three minutes is QUICK! Usually it takes me 15 minutes on average in the bronze sea…
And for the compass unalignment I dont mean how your normal compass breaks… I know it points to the center, but I feel like the compass doesnt line up with the cardinal directions… Or maybe thats not truly the center? Its a lil weird to explain…
Which direction are you entering the dark sea from in the nimbus sea, there is a chance that it has something to do with how the nimbus sea is currently much wider than it is long.
