my brother who the hell uses dagger like actually?
weapons triumph magic right now even vetex says that
Not really, magics have significantly more spell options than weapons will ever have
On release mages can have up to 16 spells, sure there’s space for duplicates and variations but there’s significantly more versatility than only 9 preset weapon skills on release. And even with weapons at max potential they have 15 skills compared to mages who have 24 by second awakening
Plus the other reason is that magic attacks don’t have much movement as of yet, and most spells were balanced around slower combat than what AO is now
The earlier ones are super early game
the entirety of this comment doesn’t really shine good light on what he said.
hes right and there’s no point in beating around the bush you need lost spells to even fight against weapons with high attack speed.
since lost spells are going to be hella rare what would early game pvp be like for magic users on release? @Cryonical
they arent hella rare bro
theres rare lost spells which are available at level 30
i mean until we know the drop rates we cant really say. Trading rare stuff is normal in Vetex games so there will be some busted ones that’re pretty hard to find but he’ll probably make the 5 lost spells have high drop rates for release
I think rare items are all rare for the sake that their rarity is the same
(sunkens don’t count)
so the drop rates and collectability would be the same
thereby placing rare lost spells at a rate close to boss drops
also meaning be could be seeing rare lost spells or rare weapons as a replacement for boss drops
it would be cool if killing bosses late game instead of getting there drops which you already have youll get a legendary chest of whatever type
1/10 chance to drop a legendary chest
Rare Spells are at level 30? That’s pretty interesting, do you have the source?
dammit i was just about to post
join da paladin club pls am lonely
I’m doing a paladin file.
A close friend of mine is going Paladin on his main save. R.I.P. to Juggernaut though, they have nobody at all despite being pretty busted in endgame with stuff like Vampirism and Impact Fist.
Less than 25% more hp than the average player at the cost of 2 magics? Yea nah, I’d rather have 5 magics unless paladins get something like imbuing magic with spirit stuff.
Plus imagine being someone who uses magics and then use weapons oh wait, there’s a build that does that already
- 10% dmg reduction, thatll add quite a boos to paladins if I were to predict it myself.
And I am so glad I can be at least someones first thought when they are looking for a paladin
I’m pretty sure paladin does get spirit weaponry/magic no?
