this could go for a lot of games but AO in particular has a lot of people who do this and it makes me annoyed

I see so many people who say stuff like “AO lacks content” or “AO lacks updates” and whatnot
youre allowed to think that and all but some of these people have done genuinely everything currently available in the game and have hundreds of hours in it

how are these people surprised the game is lacking content when theyve done literally everything in it
you dont NEED to play AO, if youre bored of it go find other games to play(including outside of roblox, i know a lot of AO players primarily play roblox games). Complaining that the game is lacking content or updates does absolutely nothing to fix that and youre not a genius for saying stuff like this

i also see a lot of people also act like its a flaw of the game?? i dont understand how some of you guys can do almost everything in a game, meaning you clearly enjoyed it, and then get upset at the game when theres nothing else for you to do as if its the game’s fault
brother you did everything in the game, you clearly had fun with it, why are you mad about it??

tldr: dont play the game if youre bored of it, wait till enough time/updates have happened for you to find it enjoyable again. updates will always take time and theres nothing you can do to fix that, so whats even the point of complaining about it. If you’ve done everything in a game OF COURSE you find it boring, why are we surprised at this???

also, keep in mind that, generally, doomposters don’t supply any sort of constructive criticism. the basic concept i’ve seen is “oh goodness me oh my! Vetex needs a bigger dev team and the game is dying and all this SUCKS SUCKS SUCKS!”

but there’s nothing that suggests “hey, you can do [blank] to improve your game!”

is the game somewhat bland right now? yeah, but that’s only cause i and many others have played the game for hours and have grinded out a lot of the bigger expansions of the game.

feeling like the game is “bad” is a perfectly fine, perfectly SUBJECTIVE OPINION. i think people forget that their opinions aren’t factual. if you feel like the game is bland, lacking in content, and you don’t enjoy it and/or think it’s dying, then feel free, but don’t try to spread your doomposting to other people, or get pissed at them when they support the game’s development. there’s a reason your posts won’t be taken seriously, yk.

and like you said, there’s plenty of other games out there to play, so go play one of those. wait for the next update, feel free to come back, grind through it (or, better option, take your time and don’t rush through things so it lasts longer), and then go back to playing other games.

Roblox is a platform where basically everything exists, so scroll, do research, find other games you might enjoy, play those, and don’t assume Arcane Odyssey is the only game on here. and what’s more is, since you have a PC, you can go play a game on Steam or some other platform.

there are PLENTY of free, lifechanging indie games, so don’t think money’s an issue either.

the game’s not dead, it still averages 1000+ players, which isn’t terrible, and i assume Vetex makes a decent revenue from it. the game will update eventually, it’ll just take time, and if you really wanna see the game succeed, then maybe support the developers instead of doomposting that “their game sucks and is dying.”

As somebody who completely squeezed every reasonable bit of content, down to a high-quality build, Sunken Warrior Chestpiece and Sunken Sword, Bronze Sea Explorer, and even dabbling in potions somewhat.
I think it’s completely unreasonable to say that there’s not enough content, after seeing all of it within my own reason.

me when i do everything in a game and theres no more content at the moment (im gonna leave and come back when theres more)

i did this doe
i mainly got bored because i lost my sunken weapons in the wipe and could never get them back. fished like crazy until i got 10 legendary scales. made two luck 5’s. didnt get any sunkens. and then my pity sunken was a sw helmet.

i still have ahold of my “ghost” sunken in my hotbar, it should be proof enough for a restore of one of my lost weapons, but mods wont restore items from the wipe because reasons¯_(ツ)_/¯
i cba grinding again so i quit for now

the pure grind is also likely a reason people quit, and there’s a fat chance you wont even get the item you specifically want

yeah this is a pretty common thing where people with like 300 hours will say theres nothing to do. Also people who make like 20 new files and play through the story so many times to the point they begin to hate and nitpick it when they actually enjoyed it the first time
