Yugo sighted, after spending several weaks researching Peristeri’s, he finally could put an end to the study on a specific creature.
He was back in his manor, and finally bedroom. He had managed to get the Grand Navy off Felix back, which meant she wasn’t going to cause him a lot of trouble for a good amount of time if she was on his ship for certain missions, after all they were supposed to be “friend’s”. Their relationship was rather questionnable, expressing hatred for one and another in some way, but Adelle was always there to make sure they’d stick together as one big group of friends, even with Yuriko oversight on them. He mostly feared Yuriko
He still knew that Felix was suspicious of him, she was in the right of doing so, after all, both him and her knew he was a monster…
But “Hey! I am not the monster we’re going to be talking about today, or rather, the creature…”
*He said, a smirk on his face, as if he had been addressing the reader *
“I think thats a story belonging to another day, especially when there are bigger monsters like her”
He thought of Felix, his face still hurting as he rubbed in with his left hand… And with the other one, he placed a glass container on his desk, a peculiar small creature resting inside of it, as if caught within a bird cage. It was a Peristeri or “Colombe”, Yugo smiled at it, as it simply rested there, it seemed made of pure energy, a white energy with a yellowish glow
He slowly removed his sunglasses, then lifted the crown from his head, placing it aside with a touch of reverence. Reaching up, he unfastened the cape from his shoulders, letting it slide off with a quiet rustle. Each movement was careful, almost ceremonial, as he continued by slipping out of his jacket, finally standing in a plain blue shirt with his sleeves rolled up to reveal toned forearms.
As he took a moment, he swept his blond hair back with both hands, his fingers gathering the strands that framed his face. His hair was just long enough to stop between his chin and neck, its soft, girlish curls, he didn’t really take care of it a lot until Felix started berrating him about it. She did teach him how to properly tie it, and so he did, he tied his hair back, the subtle curls resisting just enough to add a gentle, playful twist to his otherwise determined expression, it kind of was ridiculous to see him with this kind of haircut. All thought Felix believed him to not be that ugly looking with it…

The “Peristeri of Prometheus” / “Colombes De Prometheus”

“They’re just called colombes because Adam major influence, a long lost War Saint & Curse user, some say he still is alive but not as an human, a monster torn by grief and loss eons ago, burnt constantly by a flame sparked by the blood on his hands. Colombes seem to be the name of a specific bird in his language and culture”
ETYMOLOGY / NAMING
They bear many names, as their form may be influenced by unknown parameters. Some of these names include
“Adamus Butterfly,”
This name originates from a historical figure named Adam, a War Saint with the unique ability to perceive the colors of people’s souls, symbolizing their actions, suffering, and trauma. This ability linked him closely to these butterflies, which represented the souls of individuals. Adam had a deep admiration for butterflies—his wife was even compared to one in terms of beauty—so he came to view people’s souls as butterflies as well.
“Mundus (Clean) Feathers,”
This name is inspired by the feathers these entities produce. People often mistook clusters of these spirit butterflies as literal manifestations of angels, as their feathers were remarkably pure and emitted a blinding white glow. The book's and scrolls mentionning them seem to depict those creatures are more off "angels" or "clusters" of feathere's than actual creatures
“Labem’s (Taint) of the Soul.”
Labem, also meaning Taint, leading to "Taint Of The Soul" is a term also sharing origins with the War Saint "Adam", his ability to view the color of the soul, and the the fact he shared that belief with other people or rather that knowledge contributed to the creation of this term, people begun viewing these insects as the taint of the soul, especially when their color changed, it was an indicator to the nature of the souls that recently passed on, becoming their "taint" or essence.
However, they are more generally called "Peristeri of Prometheus" and "Colombes De Prometheus" (Doves of Prometheus)
This naming of them, more generally common has a much simpler history to it, as the insect like creatures seem to greatly appreciate Prometheus Acrimony, and "colombes" as Adelle calls them, were viewed as animals of peace and purity. It's rather intriguing how she remembers them, I thought I had... nevermind.
Yugo cut off himself in the midst of writing, he was going to add too much information, he placed his pencil on the desk
Yugo picked up his arcanium pen, he didn’t really have any reason to specifically use it, other than merely pleasure in doing so, and his enjoyment, before leaning in on his desk, he remembered it was a gift from Adelle and Felix, but mostly of Felix, so most of the time he was simply using it to draw doodles mocking her

DESCRIPTION
A fascinating yet rare phenomenon is the manifestation of spirit energy in the form of butterfly-like creatures of light. These entities are fragments of spirit energy from individuals who have passed on, ascending toward the sky. However, they exhibit patterns and movements that seem erratic, almost anomalous, as though drawn to something that appears at random.
Peristeri's may gather around specific individuals to whom they feel attracted. These individuals often possess high levels of spirit energy or unique abilities. Essentially, they are akin to ghosts but manifest as detached fragments of spirit energy rather than full apparitions. Occasionally, a greater force seems to guide them, causing them to glow a bright red.
Yugo took a pause, remembering, hge was about to write on how they defend themselves
“Should I be talking about that one embarrassing incident? Well… Not really, It wouldn’t add anything” His expression had changed to something of displeasure, similar to annoyance

Defense Mechanism
Regarding how these spirit react when attempts at made at attacking them, I honesstly can't exactly see how they would harm people..
But in a religious book regarding The War Phoenix, upon aggression toward a living being, these entitie, more so known under the name "Adamus Butterfly" are depicted to possibly cluster around the target, causing an intense sensation similar to being "stung" or itching in your own very being
In rare instances, they may produce "Feathers," which are extremely dense, feather-like objects of pure, altered spirit energy. These feathers shine brighter than those of a Prometheus Acrimony and repel magical pollution and lesser corrupted beasts. However, they have no effect on stronger sea monsters. Symbols of hope and courage, these feathers are ephemeral, leading to their existence being regarded as a mere fairy tale.
Yugo wrote in, as he played with one himself, he was planning to gift it to Felix for some reason, he didn’t really see why
“Might annoy her, should probably find a way to make it somewhat inconvenient, could simly make her have a debt toward me?” He told himself, biting on the pencil for a few sec before stopping, looking at it… he resumed his writing.
TRIVIAL FACTS
This is mostly a collection of other smaller facts about the specie that may be deemed as unimportant, or questionnable

- According to older religious books regarding greek deities and Olympus, these Peristeri would be seen within Elysium flying around in large flux.
- Some of these butterflies may linger on Earth, becoming partially corporeal.

- They are occasionally drawn to Prometheus Acrimony, clustering around it on rare occasions.
- They may also approach friends or family of the deceased individual they originate from to deliver a final message.
- The manipulation or trapping of these entities is considered highly immoral. Dark variants, known as Dark Fluxes, also exist; these have different colors due to the alignment of the spirit energy but gradually fade to white as malevolent emotions dissipate. Legend has it that a being will one day emerge to rule over these fluxes, acting as a greater oracle of sorts, or even beyond oracles.

Their existence, along with their feathers, may have inspired beliefs in beings known as "Angels," suggesting a possible connection between the two. Which is particularly supported by the 2nd name proposed in the etymology

As Yugo rested, he stared at the Peristeri he had captured, he could tell it only made the choice to stay there rather than being unwillingly captured, it was something particularly interesting to him, why was it interested in somebody like him?
He opened its container, it made the choice to rest on his finger rather than to fly away and leave him there immediately… It simply rested on his finger, it was like it fed on him for a few solid sec,for him they strangely felt a bit longer
The Perisperi took off, tainted with a black hue and pinkish hue, now flying out a window left open,it was returning to where it belonged, probably, it didn’t want to deal with the corruption he gave off? That could have been its reason…
“Black and pink? I wonder what that could mean…I can see the darkness but not that other faint”

Charging your spirit energy would cause them to appear and cluster
Very rarely they may lead a player to Prometheus Acrimony, so if you see oen that means you’re on a gold trail.
