Spirit requirements

atp mage is the definition of feature creep, i hate it.

I tried to come with a reason to why spirit shouldn’t be removed, but I genuinely can’t find one, you could literally remove spirit and nothing major would change, even the savant lord change would have more impact than removing an entire stat.

Have you people considered that it would probably be painful to fight someone constantly summoning goons to do their bidding. And if your solution is making the goons weak then i am afraid they’d just get blown up by any sort of size build, nullifying your entire TRAIT.

Spirit already does like 30 damage, at least let it be annoying whilst doing that :pensive:.

yeah this is the good point that everybody mostly forgets; but still. i think abilities that you just summon and have them do work is just something spirit should have more of— it’ll suck to balance, but come on, let Spirit have the spotlight of “Holy Shit this class sucks to fight” at least once.

If you lock the summoner to very basic and weak attacks compared to the other builds and give them a health debuff, I wouldn’t say it is

AR already has dead revival staff, which costs you a portion of health to use. I don’t think letting the player summon an ally at the cost of a permanent stat debuff for each ally alive is that terrible

I beat him on Oracle pretty easily by spamming spirt hound and regular blast

damn okay we aren’t all actually good at the game.

Elemental summon has a very long cd, also it currently sucks (Dies very quickly anyway and has 0 scaling with your stats making it weak playing against anyone actually using gear)

& then Delemere decides to spam the summon we are not allowed to use (Npc’s might just ignore cd’s tbh)

but we can’t really spam summons, someone else tried to spam haste and only cut down the cd by 8 sec max while sacrificing other stats

using your lifeforce to create summons would make sense, high risk versus high reward type shit.

we are talking about Spirit Summoning, magic summoning is booty cheeks and i fairly assumed that everyone wanted that but much stronger

I’m pissed that a Knight, can Use Aithraki before Oracles can.

NPCs have access to the AA progression system

it would make sense for spirit to be better at summoning, because you know, you’re using ACTUAL living energy instead of magic pretending to be something

Honestly, we just have to accept that Spirit was made to aura farm and wasn’t meant to be used.

Like, theres a reason every build pic comes with Spirit nowadays…

as a spirit build lover, spirit just suffers from not having a lot of time and thought being put into it now that it has changed from vitality → spirit. vitality was meant to be the “tank” build, like how the other stats had their specific playstyle. ever since the health bonus from spirit was removed, spirit builds have had a hard time finding its own identity

also who thought it would be a good idea to have absolutely 0 scaling
and apperently the spell also has 1 of the highest tier magic circles out of any spell accessible in the game rn

A spell that ass should not have the right to currently have higher tier visual magic circles compared to every other spell, even if we don’t even notice the circle itself half the time

the only way i see oracles having fun nowadays is those super regen builds where they walk out of ult arts like Mahoraga because they just happened to hit you with a spirit blast

but then get killed faster than their regen can heal them by a magic user
