[Spoiler warning] Port Mistral Story Discussion

I will repeatedly reinforce my crackpot theory of the reason why skyhall has such a disgust of seadwellers is because the Order wants a clean gene pool and is essentially brainwashing the people of Skyhall to hate them and to stay in the sky.

The MC couldve been a traveler going around the War Seas and once they reached Skyhall they got jumped and got sent to prison, where the Order took them.

Racists in the sky aren’t standing a chance against those metamancers who do 300 damage per attack.

horrendously tactically inbred skyhallians vs guy with god blood

what could go wrong

We’re making another Port Mistral with this one!

Considering how manipulative the order is I wouldnt be surprised

After putting Sparrow Thrust on my Sunken Staff I could probably delete Skyhall with a few clicks on the R key

inb4 Wotan ends up being confirmed as a warlord who uses his curse to produce the world’s most lethal bonking stick

I’m gonna go slight bit off topic but:

There is an Army. So far we only have had navies. But we might finally see a fully fledged Army in AO.

Also I can finally cosplay as myself in AO

I’ve made my own analysis here but a couple more things

  • I feel like Kelia and Hassan are going to be mentors to the other two characters.
  • if Wotan’s boss fight isn’t against a giant semi sentient Felnir controlled by the wood curse it’ll be the biggest missed opportunity

I laughed for a moment until I remembered our boats are made of wood as well… Maybe that is the reason why their boats look odd

Nasir HAS to have the copper curse

I have serious doubts. Curse Users struggle to use magic as its basically massively overshadowed by the Curse, and Nasir doesn’t have a spirit weapon on him so unless he’s just a very good doctor I’m assuming he’s just got a healing magic.

Nasir pulls up to Baldur with the healing curse

Chapter 7 is the shortest chapter in the game currently

I’d say it should get merged with chapter 6 tbh.

Thanks you’re a legend mate

There’s not any reason why it should be. Chapters aren’t based on length but on the plot point.

  • Chapter Six focuses around us investigating the Forest of Masts. Although the Corsairs are a side point for now it’s still it’s own plotline.
  • Chapter Seven is us meeting Nilah, gaining her trust as warriors - thanks Morden, and joining the Samerian Council in preparing the defences we need against Keraxe.

They’re completely different hence why they’re separate chapters.

Chapter 1:

  • we go to redwake and beat up a bunch of pirates, get sent out to defeat the local boss shura.
  • we then go to frostmill, defeat some bandits and beat up the local boss iris.

both of those stories are disconnected and yet they are both in the same chapter. I don’t see how it is any different with chapters 6 and 7.

Gungnir is a spear wielded by Odin/Wotan in Norse mythology, and is a spear that is said to never miss (AU Wotan could probably produce spears to blot out the sun :skull:, I mean u can’t miss if u just carpet bomb)

Alongside Draupnir, which is a ring that replicates eight times every 9(?) nights, which was utilized in GOW: Ragnarok to make a dope replicating spear for Kratos

Wood curse capabilities are probably heavily understated fr
