do you aim with shiftlock or free mouse.
If shift lock then id say staff. With shift lock, its enough to just look at the person and release the attack because the projectile hitbox can clip them which makes it faster to aim with, but its bit awkward to get the red dot to light up in shift lock which kind of makes it harder for attacks with smaller projectiles to hit.
If free mouse, then dagger.
kinda depends on how much speed you have and what magic, staff is much better 90% of the time cuz 1: it deals rly good damage, its fast, the hitbox is larger, it feels easier to use, and it has a good and reliable grab.
dagger is only better if your atk speed exceeds 200 (basically if spiraling fury can actually go far)

yeah i’m gonna test it out today and see how it goes, i’m mostly going dagger for spiraling fury bc it looks stylish as hell
I have always used staff but in my sailorlord slot im making I might finally use dagger (I’ll use lance of loyalty/rapier over my dead body!)
i’m trying dagger and i really like the spiralling fury behind them into dagger throw combo
might swap if i get my aim good enough

Greenwich cultist staff is actually op ngl
it should be worth it, daggers getting some pretty massive buffs so I would stick to it
it’s no different from wooden staffs
it has more speed and more damage (i tested it after a debate with another friend)
With lightning conj go sunken sword if you have it
I would actually do sunken sword, scimitars of storm, and silent claws
was the other staff not upgraded all the way? last update made it so that all weapons had equal affinities, it’s gonna change next update where all of them will be unique
(they don’t realize the iron stave has better size and deals the same amount of damage compared to the greenwish one)
