what are the pros and cons of each stat build and how do you get and use them
Okay, here’s basically every build
Warden/oracle (vit): you tanky, you can’t obtain this lol
Paladin (vit mag): tanky and you can spam pulsars and beam
Knight (vit wea): tanky-jack-of-all-trades-ish, beware you have 0 close range options though so get a greatsword or smth else
Juggernaut (vit str): tanky cqc, pretty hard to do dmg with cause your enemies have guns/beam/whatever, unless you move like how carina does lol, technically you ARE carina since you regen so fast
Mage (mag): uhh big size you’re canonically the strongest class spam pulsars and 2-count wide-casting-style beam, also you have like 4 magic blast alternatives, don’t expect to do well in cqc though, but you have snare/explosion so who cares
Conjurer (mag wea): choose a magic that has bleed synergy cause otherwise you’re dead, uhh atleast you have more close-medium ranged options now, less size though
Warlock (mag str): bane of my existence, no skill class and I will hate you if you use it (nothing personal) because only gankers with 0 real PvP skills and 400 agility use this, anyway has long range, has qcq, but don’t expect to outclash a tempest or any medium range stuff
Warrior (wea): closest thing to savant, you got guns for sniping, you got great swords (or any other heavy bladed ig) for qcq, you got normal swords for medium range stuff, also sum of your weapons have status effects like at great sword stacking bleed, or scalded doing burning
Warlord (wea str): if you use this, uhh sure, you got your own catagory called strength weapons which give you like… 3 extra weapons to work with, you need guns though, you have zero long range stuff and like 50 medium/close range stuff, canon fist also works (cfist my beloved)
Beserker (str): if you play this, I’m impressed and I respect you (unless you’re a ganker in which case fuck off), you can adapt and overcome. Absolute chad. This class has a lot of close ranged options and 2 (3) whole medium/long range moves: axe slash and shot (third one is canon fist lmb but that sucks since the original projectile only interacts with ships and terrains and NOT PLAYERS, so pray the splash from initial projectile hits, so no SAM turrets sorry), really high skill floor, dunno about ceiling
Savant (vit mag wea str): jack of all trades, master of none, but often better than a master of one. You can do anything, limb loss resistance, a bit tanky as well, but beware of the vitality reducing your dmg output. You got range, you got qcq, you got 6 (9 in full release) hotbar slots dedicated to your arsenal (which is technically a nerf since I ain’t pressing the 9th key on my keyboard to switch to that one crucial weapon fast enough) , you have ZERO size, no imbues but you do get what bewerkers/mages get: a second fs/magic… and like 50 magic blast reskins. I recommend using a shield and boxing to clear out some of that inventory slots for food/potions or whatever. Using all 4 specs isn’t necessary, 3 will also keep you a savant.
As a savant you should improvise, adapt and overcome. Enemy uses magic? Guns and weapons to outclash them, enemy uses weapons? you’re dead lol Spirit weapons, enemy uses spirit weapons? Magic, enemy uses strength? Do the same, except put knockback on your crash move. You don’t need to necessarily use every move in a fight, what matters is that no matter which scenario, SOME part of your kit will always be effective
Also yes I’m a savant main how did you know?
keep in mind though that in full release vitality will get its tankiness and damage reduction removed
FU-
Ok
Welcome to Arcane Odyssey, we have:
Magic
Strength
Weapons
Weapons, but berry flavored
bro has never played attack size juggernaut with sailor, you dont even have to look in their direction.
I never said it has small size
I just said it had small range since it’s not that reliable on long-range combat
I’m a warlord and have all 3 streangth weapons so I can obliterate enemy’s at close range but I’m pretty clumsey so it was terrible fighting lady carina
Where did your size go
size?
Attack size
oh I have intensity and agility as my armor stats
gen argos set
Intensity starts falling off rapidly when you go above 100
Generally speaking vit outside of juggernaut is buns
(Don’t respond to this with any objections because i will be ignoring you btw ^)
Mage used to be cwaacked, like goku level, now its only goated with the sauce if you run some sort of speed mage mega aim bullshit thats not fun to play. I mean you can try size mage but the startup will kill ya
Warlord i like to play with beeeg size
Zerker never was ass solid investment regardless of the current meta
Warrior lowk kinda ghey and underwhelming but i dont mind
Conj is for BMW drivers
Savant is for ppl who either invested stat points on accident/or ppl who are trying to hard to be unique (I’d do savant once the level caps like 200/250 that way you get a lot of cool shit not old weapons)
Warlock is also underwhelming just be a zerker atp
thats just because Sailor is big, not anything to do with Jugg (imbue only increases weapons size)
cant use Pulsar with Hybrids. the correct style of Paladin is weaker mage with a 24/7 lightning gel whose also tanky
you’re a knight, you should almost always carry a sword/katana for mid to cqc, focus on your bonus size (its really all Knights have). Pretty much the defacto worst build, but also the coolest. Lightning Conj without any of the magic and 1 less weapons.
if you’re playing jugg (ESPECIALLY SAILOR), and struggle to catch people: what are you doing? Build Agility, then go size. your ridiculously durable, heal at absurd rates (cuz of natural health), and still have enough power to do good damage. Sailor gives stun, Thermo gives a higher dmg boost, Ileg/cannon can do the highest but requires bleed.
keep your sanity and dont go Boxing/Basic jugg.
as a devoted warlock I greatly disagree with thoust
as a devoted knight I greatly disagree with thoust (does look sick asf tho)
also, everything really depends on how you build your moveset
