It’s probably going to be your character getting mobbed by an immense amount of Ravenna npcs, and will probably end with you defeating most of or all of them. this could also be a part where the co-captain pitches in by telling you need a place to dock and fight them.

I feel like we’ll escape the fleet to Windrow and then get ambushed by the mountain bandits when we arrive

Good point, because maybe there are several rocks on the way to the island so you could use them to lose the fleet and escape to wind-row
So most of this next chapter is going to be feeding you levels before the next sea and to get awakenings then
but it takes longer to level up as you do so. More experience required per level so if its 5 hrs to lvl 50 than it would be 10 hrs to lvl 85 or something.
i assume exp scales from story so its a fair proportion, and not like 100 exp when you’re at level 200

Also, was that depending on if the player was or wasn’t progressing the story? Just grinding enemies for exp?
Neviro is could give your character some of his wisdom, which could allow your character to awaken more power

You would just be hunting for player kills or player kill experience

I want early access release to be lvl 119 and you can’t get Awakenings till level 120.
