Oooof course, it also takes longer and you can miss the button, when a simple alt f4 is quick and easy. Not to mention if you DO get combat tagged, you’re probably fucked in that case since you probably got hit
I love this moment, cause these dudes arent bandits, theyre the Deepwoken Equivalent of Natives lmao.
Theyre usually neutral too, so you mustve had really bad luck
he probably tried to help the guy or the ai was just tweakin
but yeah for savagewind you can find their hostages around the map (usually the vipers jaw in the mudskipper cave) and carry it back to etrea, and theyll teach you a fighting style you can start every new run with on that file, it also scales off light weapons
lol i just started a flame heavy build yesterday these things are cracked in verse two
since everyone’s giving you tips heres a useful one. Keep your performance stats on if you have problems with ping (you can turn it on in the roblox esc settings). Ideally, you want something below 100 but you can work with the mid-low 100s. Past 200s makes it impossible to parry daggers so constantly monitoring it through performance stats can help you get good servers.
Overall W review, I hope you continue this because you haven’t even gotten through the early game content yet, you have so much stuff in the mid and endgame to explore.

depending on your ping your character can stay loaded in for 3-4 seconds after you altf4, using the menu unloads you instantly. since getting hit even after you “leave” the game ctags you, the safer option is always using the menu button.
Watching new player deepwoken clips reminds me the first time I played it
As your power grows, you gain bonus NPC damage (it should be ~30% per power now, additive). That had a big impact on your sharko slaying speed.
By some quick math I got that it was only weakened by a fourth of its total hp (or less if your sword has damage or pen from the 3 stars, both of which I didn’t take into account).
Glad you’re finding joy from the game though, the Deepwoken experience truly is gripping.

not sure if someone’s mentioned it already but some mantra’s are destructive and can help you access blocked off places, which is a very cool idea but the lack of explanation in the game itself stinks 
very happy they added a tutorial after maybe a year (?) but it should be a little bit more in depth, or at least give you a couple extra questions you could ask via dialogue options
