Y’all are just feeding and enticing him + other trolls. Just flag and ignore.
but it’s funny though
ok but those screenshots aren’t proving anything unlike mine which clearly show you getting mad and trying to act cool
Keep proving my point you absolute man babies.
keep proving my point you vile egoist
This topic proves my point that we need stricter rules on drama.
I tried keeping it civil until these buffoons came along to try and stir the pot like some drama-addicted apes.
Stricter rules means more censoring on little things like this. If the drama gets out of hand to where all a post has is people cussing each other out, then obviously actions will be issued.
that’s a smart approach to things like this ngl
There actually is.
I mean like a real time one that you can simply open instead of having to open a separate tab
hmm i guess so
In older forums I remember they always had a chat function where people could dump the low quality shit the measure didn’t stay too long tho. I mean, with Discord existing and all it isn’t worth the investment.
Back when forums were a bigger deal, there was an unspoken etiquette where Off-Topic threads were reserved for spam threads, guild talk was for professional shit talking, etc.
There were informal levels of moderation for these sections based on what people did. Game Discussion would be more rigorously scrubbed. You could tell what was a well run forum from the bad by where the shitposters went, where the PvP bastards went, and whether those places were separated from the rest of the forum.
Right now people are bringing in their beef into every thread they visit. This issue isn’t the same as trolling but it’s more tiring to have to watch, IMO.
EDIT: Not going to double post. Read spoiler.
If there is a criticism I could level at the website design, it’s that the Latest Topics feed takes up more space than it needs tbh. It encourages people to jump into the newest topic without really thinking about how to behave.
I’m sure that 90% of people who pick fights on this forum have conveniently forgotten the community guidelines, and why would they remember? Just click button and smash keys and post. Trust levels are good and all, but what process of intentional decision making is present for people who post replies? One of the biggest issues right now is that, even with trolls, they know they can avoid moderation for the majority of their posts if they just pick fights with the angriest forum posters. Those people are in the wrong as well, they let themselves get provoked at the slightest insult.
