Strong/Hard Power Amulets are the exact same. (Change my mind)

Alright, so allow me to tell you why these two enchantments are trivial and change nothing. Let me give you a scenario

If two wizards who have 250 HP total were fighting, and they only had those amulets, who would win?

Lets say they only have the first attack, which does 50 damage for both of them. The power amulet alone will increase that to say… 68-70 damage, assuming the amulet is lvl 60. So, currently for both the wizards, if that blast attack hits, they will do, say 70 damage, which would kill them in 4 hits, assuming their g key is broken. Now, the person with the strong power amulet will do an extra, say 10 damage, so now they do 80 damage, which would still, kill the opposing enemy in 4 hits . (80 x 4 = 320).

Now, if the person with the hard power amulet was getting hit by the blast attack (hard defense amulet adds 50 extra hp), they would have total 300 hp, and still die in 4 hits.

Do you see what happens? No matter what, they both die in 4 hits.

Unless im getting some stats wrong, i would rather get a hard power amulet

yeah i guess in this very specific scenario you have set up the stats dont matter… but the game doesnt always function like this. You run into many different enemies with many different max HPS and dmg outputs. you may survive an attack that gives you bleeding by 2 HP because you had a hard enchant on something. Likewise, you may attack an NPC and leave them with 1 HP because you DIDNT have strong enchant on that amulet.

When would that exact situation happen ._.

As you get higher lvl things and stronger enchants, the difference will really start to show when a power amulet will give you like 30 extra damage. It’s just right now we are too low lvl for it to really make a difference

well in my experience. hard enchant at lvl 60 grant you about 1-2 extra hits per hard enchanted gear. and strong enchant at lvl 60 gives you only 6 (?) extra power. you might think full armor is great then. well not really because ideally you want to still hit hard for easier killing, but have extra HP to survive as well. so really the best setup is hybrid power & armor

If you have higher max hp, it is harder to fling and inflict limb loss as well as inflict certain status effects.

The damage in your hypothetical would come out to exactly 69 damage per shot, to which I can only say:
nice
