Structure/Island

If you could add one island to the game with a structure (like a town, fortress, tower, park, statue, etc.) What would you add?

I would add a small town in the central Bronze Sea, probably southwest of Munera, called The Merchant’s Tavern. It’s a medium sized island, around twice the size of Sailor’s Lodge, and functions in a similar way. Players, no matter what renown, are welcome here as long as they don’t commit warcrimes.

The thing is a small man-made island with several buildings on it, but mainly a hub with a bar. The usual shop NPCs spawn nearby, while merchant NPCs that are non-attackable, are randomly generated sitting in the tavern, functioning similarly to ship NPCs, they sell stuff. They could also have specific professions, such as fishermen selling fish.

This could also be a place where auctioneers had a purpose.

Merchant NPCs ships also spawn or dock here, and they are attackable as always. There’s are also NPCs offering quests, and ofc there’s common stuff like cooking pots, cauldrons, jewel crafting stations, bounty boards and sponsors.

There also might be a fs mentor.

Finally, there are Guards: NPCs that guard the tavern, and if a player attacks npcs or players, the guards will be alerted and attack the player, regardless of renown, tho they will prioritize negative renown players. Guards are arranged into 4 tiers: level 20, 60, 100 and 130.

Libertalia, port of the free:

Built out of the jagged spires of hazardous sea stacks, Libertalia is a haven for pirates from all over the War Seas. The town can be found by navigating a harsh jungle of jagged rocks until you see the Gnarled Fingers that stand at the towns center. Five giant jagged spires, clawing at the sky like the hand of a drowning giant.

Libertalia, design wise, is a boat town. The entire town is built from recycled and reused shipwrecks. From shops, to store fronts, to homes and mansions. Atop the gnarled fingers sit five pieces of a great warship of ancient past, split asunder as though the spires rose from the sea to stab it, and each of the five most influential pirates in the city claims a finger as their own personal base.

The hostile terrain, coupled with the large force of criminals makes Libertalia almost unassailable by the Navy, who instead choose to focus. It would be the single largest criminal-only town in the game, and be the homebase to the Corsair Country.

Tis only a dream though.

Grave of the War Phoenix

You sailed a long way down the Dark Sea… until suddenly you emerged.
This place isn’t familiar to you… not your character anyway.
The ruins of what once stood tall in the clouds.
A grave stands in the rubble.

Wizard tower

I thought you said that Theos’ grave is in The Dark Sea, not The Seven Seas. Also, it’d probably take 3 months of sailing to reach from The War Seas to The Seven Seas, considering that both sea clusters are on opposite sides of the planet.

The player would’ve probably died anyways when they got to the Far Reaches or beyond if they’re sailing on water.
