Deckhand Profession Ideas-
Guard-
Gives the ability to fling all non party members and hostile NPCs off of the boat.
The more this ability is upgraded, the longer the effect lasts.
Rookie- 5 seconds
Apprentice- 10 seconds
Skilled- 15 seconds
Expert- 20 seconds
Master- 20 seconds and 10 seconds of 50-90% damage reduction to anyone sitting on the ship
The cooldown should not change based on level, and should be around 90 seconds
Lookout-
Passively warns you about nearby islands and ships.
Some warnings show as a pop up, like how when your ship is damaged. Others show as directions, telling you where something is relative to your ship. (Left, right, forwards, backwards, such as “There is a Dark sea island to to the front left of the ship!”)
If your ship has a crow’s nest, the Lookout will always spawn there.
The more it is upgraded, the greater the range and detection ability
Rookie- 250 meter maximum range, warns you about agrod NPC ships
Apprentice- 500 meter maximum range and now informs you about nearby lost cargo and abandoned ships nearby
Skilled- Max range is 750 meters and now informs you about nearby dark sea islands
Expert- 1500 meters maximum range and now warns you about sea monsters and Atlantean ships (even if not agrod yet)
Master- 2000 meters maximum range and now informs you if it sees a player that you are hunting (only you will see the notification)
To keep it balanced, not everything will scale the same, here are the numbers for a master Lookout
Agrod ships - Infinite range (bc if they agro you probably already are quite close)
Dark sea islands - 2000 meters
Sea monsters and Atlantean ships - 1000 meters
Abandoned ships - 750 meters
Lost cargo - 500 meters
Player you are hunting - 500 meters
Healer-
Boosts regen and healing for players, party members, and crewmember/deckhands on your boat.
The effect stops working if a player hits you (Still works if it was just an NPC)
Rookie- +50% regen for 25 seconds
Apprentice- +60% regen for 25 seconds and clears basic negative effects
Skilled- +75% regen for 30 seconds and slows insanity effects by 50%
Expert- +85% regen for 40 seconds
Master- +100% regen for 45 seconds and the timer for the water poisoning effect goes down 15x faster (lasts for 20 seconds)
The cooldown should not change based on level, and should be around 300-500 seconds

Make it so if you use aura or charge with arcanium of the same magic, the arcanium pieces glow like how arcanium cannons do when fired

There should be some way to be able to visually apply your magic/fighting style/spirit aura (and maybe even weapon aura) onto items that you are wearing

NPC’s will now drown if they are in the water for 2 minutes (excluding bosses and high level Atlantans IN DARK SEA) Additionally, gravy NPC’s won’t fucking jump you when your ship stops moving for 1 picosecond.
