You now have to defeat Poseidon’s soul in a dedicated bossfight that is borderline impossibe at lv 119 to obtain your first awakening
Once you do defeat him you only unlock an extremely weak version of your awakening and you have to defeat Poseidon 13 times to fully master your awakening.

Also, to unlock Arcane Apotheosis, you’ll have to hunt and kill 50 players, sink 70 armored+ ships, survive the dark sea for 7 hours, and do some extremely difficult parkour, all without dying, and then you have to fight a High Lord, all without dying or else you have to start over.

alternatively, to unlock Ancient Magic a mage will first have to consume 1 hecate shard to obtain lost magic, then they must obtain 2 more hecate shards and use one (No need to max Lost Magic Mastery) then they must defeat 30-50 Assassin Lords (consuming the third hecate shard after killing the last one) and after that they have to speak to Cinthia on Makrianos to begin a hunt on another Assassin lord with a specific name. The odds of an assassin lord spawning with that name increases if you are in the server. You must then kill that assassin lord with an attack from your lost magic to obtain Ancient magic!
Unfortunately said ancient magic only activates when you die while having Lost Magic Aura active, reviving with full health but health reduced by 0.3x and the form lasts till you die.

Failing to pay the exact amount will result in waves of Golden Ones being sent after you.

you can still sink the ship and get it for your fleet, its only if they die the ship gets sunk and you cant get it. honestly this is how I get the ships from the chunky noteriety bois, you just aggro the ppl then the ships a sitting duck!
