I recently finished a web novel called Mother of Learning. ~107 chapters, but they’re long, and the writer grows as the book is written. It’s Fantasy and another thing, but reading the first chapters would introduce the book well enough, though there might be a lot of info dropping sometimes.

Might not be what you want but the skyward series by Brandon Sanderson is amazing.
