You know ship jacks? Those little flags that wave around on top of your ship?
I have some ideas for them.
Proposal
Ship jacks should turn to face the direction of the wind, going limp if there is no wind, and they should display the clan image on them as well as the color.
Details/background on your proposal
Wind Direction
Currently, ship jacks do nothing much other than wave and look pretty. This would change that, giving them a function for new players similar to Deepwoken’s, where ship flags would wave to face the wind. This would also let people be notified of the wind’s direction other than the occasional particle. Furthermore, if there isn’t any wind at the moment, the jack should go limp.
Clan Image
If I’m gonna be honest, this is just for vanity. It would probably reduce the number of people asking for clan sails, though.
Reason to add/change
As I mentioned earlier, it would help with vanity and immersion.

Cons
- technical limitations could prevent the clan jack change
