The map highlighted a path way in red and it went all the way to Snowfolk to book of Creaturae.
They would travel many days on a boat, many of them involving catching fish and Kennedy being a mouthful of deception. Cold temperatures would start to bring chills down their spine as their ship eventually banged into an ice glaciar.
“We’re here.”
Daniel said looking into the map.
They all wore warm uniforms to protect themselves as Kennedy and Fang would be naturally resistant to the temperature. They saw a large sphere made of ice amongst the snowy mountains.
They all travelled across a bridge, the ropes frozen and the wooden planks barely containing their weight. Kennedy would accidently break one of them and almost fell with Chad laughing.
“Oh, shut up.”
Kennedy angrily snarled.
They would continue for a while and when they were near the end, a dark figure would appear in front of him.
“Out of our way-”
Chad would go ahead of the wizard walking towards the cloaked wizard.
The figure would shoot a blast of Metal at Chad knocking him off into the depths under the bridge. Daniel would shoot a beam of blue fire but the figure would use the metal to absorb the heat, before using the metal wall to knock the rest of them into the abyss.
Daniel would wake up from the attack with Kennedy right by his side.
“Where did the others go?”
Kennedy said.
“Perhaps they fell into a different area of this cave.”
Daniel suggested.
The two would travel together in the labyrinth as cold temperatures started to freeze through Daniel clothes, Kennedy would take off his shirt and give it to Daniel for warmth. They would eventually walk into a open-area with a book on a sort of stand.
“Lets get-”
Kennedy would walk forward into a skull as it cracked.
“What the-”
Kennedy quickly backed away.
Chad and Fang would eventually find their way back together with the others.
“Well, its there, lets take it and go.”
Fang spoke.
Daniel went forward to claim it but a smoke appeared as Hollie appeared in front of him and pushed him back with a metal ball.
“I’m sorry, but this book is mine!”
Hollie said as she blocked their attacks.
She would then jump over the wall as she created an explosion of metal, it would crack the caves structure as icicles fell down from the roof almost stabbing the heroes.
Kennedy would try to blast ink magic, however it turned into a solid before it could reach Hollie, in return, she hurled another metal ball at Kennedy, this time breaking his ribs.
Chad would blast some purple acid at Hollie, she would quickly turn her arm into metal as the acid would slightly burn it.
“Son of a b-”
Hollie would be cut off as Fang drop-kicked her onto the floor.
She would recover before she summoned a pillar that knocked Fang into the cave’s ceiling, then he fell back down, he quickly rolled away before a icicle would impale him.
Daniel would begin summoning circles of blue fire that would hurl towards her, she would block three of them before the last one burnt her arm off.
Fang would begin running up to Hollie, slashing her chest with a shadow scythe, stunning her, Chad would also begin running at Hollie, she would try to blast another ball of metal, however he would jump out of the way and petrify her with Ash magic.
Kennedy would grab the book off of the stand and the caves walls begin to crumble.
“Oh, we need to get the fuck outta here!”
Chad screamed as they all ran out.
They would exit the cave at the last second before the entrance shut off.
“How do we get out of here now?”
Chad said.
“We could use jump magic, however it wouldn’t be enough.”
Kennedy said.
All three of them would try jumping out, but would fall right back down.
“Shit, we’re done for.”
Kennedy explained.
Before they all just gave up, Zackary’s Dragon arrived along with Alastair and Bethany and it swooped down and took them out of there.
“Woah, who are you!”
Kennedy screamed.
“Just some Ironport folk who had word from Daniel that you’re hunting down the books.”
Alastair spoke behind him.
“Bruh, Daniel!”
Chad would yell as Daniel as he shivered.
The dragon would fly them back to the ship they arrived at as the Dragon rested on the ship.
“Any visons, Bethany?”
Daniel would talk to half-deacon.
“Not a vision, but by common-sense, the villains should be travelling to the next book, we must sail there immediately!”
Daniel gave the map to Kennedy as he sailed them to the next book, Exitium.
