Sunken items are the best source of armor, damage and usefulness out of any items in the game. That being said, they are extremely rare. They can only be found through fishing at player level 50 or above.
There are two types of Sunken items - the Sunken Iron Set, which is armor, and the Sunken Sword, which is a weapon.
The Sunken Iron Set consists of the three armor pieces; the Sunken Helmet, the Sunken Boots and the Sunken Chestplate.
The Sunken Sword is a weapon.
But why are Sunkens so special? Let me explain.
Each Sunken item is only obtained through fishing, with an inconsiderably small drop rate of 1/8000 for any of the four Sunkens. You also must be level 50 or higher to even find them through fishing.
You can however trade for Sunken pieces, and this is the way people most likely obtain Sunkens.
In value, the Sunken Sword is the best. The Sunken Sword also has the special ability Rising Tide, which is a movement-based attack that shoots you up in the air while damaging nearby enemies.
Sunken Value Comparison:
Sunken Sword > Sunken Chestplate > Sunken Boots > Sunken Helmet
Different enchantments have different effects on each piece’s value however.
While the best enchantment for armor would be hard, the best enchantment for the sword would be strong.
Sometimes people also want powerful on their Sunken armor pieces, depending on what set they plan to build with the Sunkens. So it’s up to preference, but the best enchant is hard.
If you ever don’t get the Sunken enchant you want, trade away the item to someone who does want it, and in return for other Sunken items. Some people may want that bursting helmet you just got, or the powerful boots you messed up.
One more thing - don’t get too comfortable with the current value of Sunkens. When the revamp is released, Sunken items are expected to be replaced by better armor and weapons, making Sunken items less valuable as their demand goes down.
But that’s so far what we know about Sunkens. If you have questions about me or this post, reply and I’ll respond back.
