Some days had passed since the defeat of King Calvus, Abby and the others have gotten ready to sail into the nimbus sea through the dark sea. As they decided to celebrate in Sailor’s Lodge, Abby sat on the dock looking into the sunset.
”How is it, Captain?” Edward said as he sat down beside her.
”… I don’t know if I’m ready.” Abby mumbled as she looked at the water below them.
”Ready for what?”
”To sail out there. We won’t make it.”
”Come on Captain, we all know you can control a ship with ease.”
”I’m not scared of that, I’m… What if the sirens get us?”
”…” Edward let out a chuckle as he looked at her ”You’re scared of that?”
”Eh?” Abby snapped her gaze back at him.
”You’ve defeated both General Argos and the King himself, but you’re scared of some pretty women?”
”Well-”
”I’ve seen seamonster larger than ships being murdered by you.”
”Well what about our sanity?”
”We’re already keeping ourself sane with Iris, I think we can make it.”
”… True.” Abby let herself laugh as she smiled at him, ”Thank you Edward.”
”No problem Abby, but I think we need to go back inside before Iris starts another fight.”
