Perhaps you could build a tightrope of sorts to cross the gap, but you don’t exactly have the materials for that. You can’t build a tightrope out of dirt!

falling into the void brings you back into the sky
build up enough speed and jump off the gap that seperates the starting island and the new one
Use that wooden log you used as a hoverboard and fall into the abyss so you’ll spawn higher in the sky and fall onto the other island

You have an idea-you could build a tightrope using the sticks from the tree! You have no idea why you didn’t think of that first.
You reach into the fallen tree…
And you get two long sticks!
You combine both sticks to make the comically long wooden tightrope!
You place it on the gap…
And you walk across with your arms out.
It looks silly walking like this, but it’s better than falling down…
But it seems you’ve made a small miscalculation, the wood can’t keep up with your weight, even with your arms out! The wood breaks underneath your feet!
But you manage to save yourself with your trusty pickaxe!
Thank gosh, you barely managed to save yourself!
And now there’s a whole new island to explore…

First thing’s first, definitely use one of those tall trees to make a more permanent bridge between the islands. And what’s the yellow thing on the middle left tree?

There’s some strange green pattern in the middle of this island…
It feels cold to the touch-as if it was made out of metal or something…what could this be?
You realize something-since your comically long wood tightrope broke, you have no way of getting back to the first island!
Thankfully, there’s an easy solution to this. You chop down a tree on the new island, which falls onto the first one, making a bridge!
While you now have a means to get back to the first island, it looks even trashier now…
There’s a big, suspicious-looking rock on this new island. It’s just screaming to be broken with your pickaxe!
You mine at it for a bit, but man this rock is tough. It’s going to take a while to break it open…
Since your arm is sore earlier from messing around with that barbell, you have to stop half-way through mining the rock to take a break. While you’re recovering, perhaps you should do something else here?

Take the green metal thing off the ground with your epic strength from lifting dumbells and move it against a tree to use as a ladder

The metal pattern comes fully out of the ground, revealing itself to be a cage with another button in the center!
You’re obviously supposed to press this button too, so you ponder how you’re supposed to press it through the cage…perhaps you could throw a rock or something?
