So it’s now relatively common knowledge that I am an amateur pianist. Technically keyboard but whatever. So whenever I do something cool I’ll post it here
My actual keyboard ain’t working great so I’m using a website for now. This is quite off-tempo at the fast parts, and I make a fair few mistakes throughout the song, and I keep hopping back and forth between the website and my note doc for this song so there’s large gaps between parts as I check what to play because again, amateur, and also it’s quite low quality, but it’s the start of the thread. Give me a break.
So anyway without further ado here’s Sleep Well by CG5.

Oh yeah, forgot to say you’ll notice I’ve not done the bass clef section, so I might attempt a full version of Sleep Well before moving onto the second song I have planned

i might still shoot for a perfect treble clef run of sleep well before moving on tho, and then when ive got an actual keyboard i’ll come back to it
not even gonna attempt to suggest ive not compressed it more than i needed to, but i have improved - yes there are mistakes and i repeat a full bit at the end by accident but progress is happening
progress is a thing thats happening, i played it almost perfectly
im not bothering recording it until im spot-on for now tho, because compressing it is pain
yeah i take it back i hit every note right this time, only tempo f*ckups were the site lagging out too
might move on to the next song tmrw

I’m not hating or anything like that, but as a pianist I would highly encourage you to buy an electronic keyboard, even if it’s a very very cheap one…
Like guitar hero to guitar, playing on a computer keyboard has practically no translation to a physical keyboard. You could practice for hours and not be able to play a piano irl, or you could buy a keyboard and eventually go somewhere with it. And if you want to record yourself playing, there’s probably cords for connecting your digital keyboard to your computer via midi
that is what i’m working on and that’s why i am using the website as a substitution in the meantime
i can play an actual keyboard at roughly the same level of skill but mine doesnt work very well so i need to get a better one its just not top of my priority list rn

you could have used split screen 
That’s why in the final video there wasn’t any, I had the bright idea of having my notes open on my phone at the side
Also split screen angers me lol
